Dr. Shivani Bidhuri

Dr. Shivani Bidhuri is an academician and researcher in Political Science, currently working as an Assistant Professor at the School of Education, Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth, Nachauli Faridabad. She specializes in women’s representation and governance in urban local bodies and has completed her Ph.D. from Galgotias University, where her research focused on the participation, leadership, and socio-political challenges faced by women in municipal governance in South Delhi.

She has published 6 research papers, including 3 Scopus-indexed publications, and has contributed one chapter to an edited academic book. Her scholarship is centered around gender studies, political participation, governance, public policy, and social inclusion.

Her areas of expertise include Research Methodology, Qualitative Research Designs, Feminist Theories, Academic & Research Writing, and Inclusive Education Practices. Additionally, she is a trained Special Educator (ASD) and has extensive teaching and inclusive classroom experience.

She is also assisting the Dean’s Associates in academic coordination and institutional academic processes, contributing to curriculum planning, documentation, and quality enhancement. Dedicated to advancing gender-sensitive governance and inclusive education, Dr. Shivani continues to engage in teaching, research, and academic development with commitment and vision.
