Dr. Vinod Kumar Kushwah

Dr. Vinod Kumar Kushwah is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth, Faridabad, Haryana with over six years of experience in teaching and research in Civil and Environmental Engineering. He earned his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (Environmental Engineering) from GLA University, Mathura, where his research focused on the hydrochemical characteristics and water quality assessment of surface and groundwater in Braj-Bhoomi (Mathura, India). He holds an M.Tech. in Environmental Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Kurukshetra, and a B.Tech. in Environmental Engineering from Hindustan College of Science and Technology, GBTU University, Lucknow.

Dr. Kushwah research interests encompass water and wastewater engineering, solid waste management, air and noise pollution, and soil and water conservation. He has published multiple research papers in reputed international journals such as Scientific Reports (Nature Group), Water (MDPI), and Innovative Infrastructure Solutions (Springer). His research has been recognized with the Best Research Paper Award at the 3rd International Conference on Futuristic and Sustainable Aspects in Engineering and Technology (FSAET-2022). He is also a co-inventor of a published patent (2024) titled “Soil Stabilizing Composition.”

Alongside his academic work, Dr. Kushwah has actively contributed to institutional development through his involvement in IQAC, Green Audit, NAAC coordination, and Training & Placement activities. He has also served on organizing committees for international conferences such as FSAET and SPACE.

Committed to fostering practical learning and sustainable development, Dr. Vinod Kumar Kushwah continues to inspire students through a blend of innovative research, field-based learning, and academic excellence in the field of Environmental and Water Resource Engineering.

  • Actively involved in BRNS funded project “Probing Yamuna water Pollution and mechanism of its diffusion to groundwater using Isotope Hydrology”.
  • Prepared a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) of Solid waste management for Clean and Green Campus (Thapar University, Patiala).
