Assistant Professor
Department of Biotechnology
Dr. Diksha is a microbiologist with a strong academic and research background. She is currently working as Assistant Professor, in Department of Biotechnology, Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth Faridabad. She completed her undergraduate studies at Kurukshetra University (KUK), where she was awarded First Position for her outstanding academic performance. She went on to pursue a Master’s degree in Microbiology, from CCS HAU, Hisar, where her research focused on the “Bioremediation of phenolic compounds in sewage water using bacterial consortium.” During her post-graduate studies, she was honoured with the SR Vyas Gold Medal and the Best Master’s Thesis Award, recognizing her exceptional research and academic excellence.
She earned her Ph.D. in Microbiology from CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar. Her doctoral research was centered on “Development of seed coating method for increased viability of bioinoculants on legume and cereal seeds,” contributing to sustainable agricultural practices and microbial biotechnology.
Her teaching philosophy is grounded in creating a dynamic and inclusive learning environment, where students are encouraged to think critically, explore creatively, and engage deeply with scientific material.
Research Expertise:
Dr. Diksha continues to contribute actively to the scientific community through her research, publications, and dedication to shaping the next generation of microbiologists.
