Dr. Anamika

Assistant Professor

School of Basic & Applied Sciences

Dr. Anamika is an Assistant Professor in Biotechnology with research expertise in plant molecular biology, abiotic stress physiology, and bioinformatics. Her Ph.D., funded by DST-SERB, focused on the development of in-silico molecular markers and profiling of Pisum sativum for drought tolerance. She has hands-on experience in primer designing, enzymatic assays, genetic diversity analysis, and tissue culture.

Her teaching interests include genetics, cell biology, drug delivery systems, bioprocess engineering, environmental health and safety, biostatics and genomics & proteomics. She is committed to fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and practical skills in students through a blend of conceptual teaching and hands-on laboratory training.

With several peer-reviewed publications, national-level conference awards, and two patents, she integrates computational and experimental approaches to contribute to sustainable agriculture and crop improvement.
