Message of Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academics)
The Lingaya's University (erstwhile Lingaya's Institute of Technology and Management) is a house hold name in the region for its academic excellence, overall discipline and creative environment. It is one of the oldest educational institutes in Faridabad which has grown commensurate to the aspirations of youth and emerging needs of society, education and industry. Over the years, It has developed a strong and modern infrastructure of laboratories, workshops, class rooms, hostels and transport to provide a hassle free environment of learning and hand on training. The university has brought together brilliant minds as faculty and given them wide space to interact and discover at graduation, master and doctoral levels. This is the reason that we have expanded our academic activities by opening Schools of Pharmacy, Architecture, Basic Sciences, Education and strengthening our old and traditional schools of Engineering and Managements. We encourage students to take advantage of our sports and hobby clubs. Our T & P department is always engaged in exploring new openings for the passing- outs to minimize their career searching stress. The process is made easier by organizing specialised sessions on how to face selection process of the potential employers.
Our mission to provide student centric, quality and value based education attract students from various states of India. Our success is reflected in the employment of our alumni in diverse fields of industries, government and education sectors. Our consistent perseverance towards excellence and interaction with industries has developed a strong sense of confidence in the industries which feel comfortable in giving training and jobs to our students.
Modern education is not for local or regional jobs. The economic progress of our country has opened global opportunities in various fields of learning and careers. To rightfully grab these opportunities requires that we should be equipped with internationally competitive and specialized education, knowledge and behavior. Today Indian universities face a tough challenge to meet the rising standards of global employers. Lingaya's University sees this as an opportunity and faces it by regular upgrading of its capabilities of human and material resources to educate a competent and confident force of students ready to face the challenges of life at global level.
I take this opportunity to welcome and extend my best wishes to the aspiring students who intend to be admitted in to Lingaya's University during 2017-18 session.
