Department of Education (previously Lingaya's College of Education) was established in the year 2006. The Department of Education offers B.Ed., M.Ed. approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and Ph.D. (Education) and has experienced, research focused and dedicated faculty members. The emphasis is laid on all round development of prospective teacher and teacher-educators. Well equipped laboratories, rich library and modernized IT facilities etc. are the unique features of the department. So Initially the name was Department of Education later on from September 2014 understands the new courses been added to the portfolio the nomenclature was changed to School of Education with different courses been offered like B.Ed,M.Ed,B.AB.Ed,B.ScB.Ed and Doctorate Courses.The duration of B.Ed and M.Ed courses is 2 years.
