D.Pharm is a two years Diploma course running as per PCI recommended course curriculum. B.Pharmacy is a 4 years Degree programme.     The School of Pharmacy (SOP) is the endeavour of Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences to prepare students to become pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists who will be leaders in pharmacy profession.

    HOD's Profile

    Dr. Mojahidul Islam is currently working as a Dean and Professor in School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Lingayas University, Faridabad, Haryana

    He has completed his Bachelor’s in Pharmacy degree (1999) from Jamia Hamdard, completed his Masters in Pharmacy (2003) and Ph.d. (2007) in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi. He Secured 93.71 percentile in Graduate Aptitude test in Engineering (GATE) 2001, conducted by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, India.

    He is having more than 18 years of teaching experience working in India and abroad. More than 3 years work as an Associate Professor and HOD in Sharda University, Greater Noida. 10 years he worked as an Assistant professor and HOD in Pharmacy department in Libya and Saudi Arabia University. Dr.Mojahid supervised 10 Masters and supervising 8 Ph.D. students. He has received Senior Research Fellowship (UGC/RGNF-SRF/2005) for Ph.D program awarded by UNIVERSITY GRANT COMMISSION, Govt. of India, received Junior Research Fellowship (UGC/MANF-JRF/2004) for Ph.D program awarded by UNIVERSITY GRANT COMMISSION, Govt. of India and AICTE, GATE Junior Research Fellowship (2001-2003) during M.Pharm awarded by MHRD Government of India. Dr.Mojahid is in editorial board of Journal of Medicinal Chemistry and Drug Design and Open Access Journal of Pharmaceutical Research. He is expert reviewer of Asian Journal of Research in Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences and British journal of pharmaceutical research. Dr.Mojahid attended so many conferences national (32) and international conferences (5) and presented paper in that conferences. He has Published 47 national and international research paper in reputed journal.
